How Plasma Deck Works
Instead of the normal Chips × Mult, Plasma averages the two first, so score becomes ((Chips + Mult) / 2)². By the AM–GM inequality a balanced hand always scores at least as high as the unbalanced version, but blinds are doubled, so you need a real gap to come out ahead. Break-even is roughly a 6× gap between Chips and Mult (3 + 2√2 exactly). Below that, the doubled blinds cost more than the balancing saves.
How to Play It
Brute-force Chips. Stuntman gives a huge flat chip block with no scaling, and Stone cards carry the first few antes. Bank skip-tag money: early blinds are easy, so take Investment and economy tags over playing Small Blinds.
Level one hand type with Planet cards and thin the deck toward high cards and Aces. Grab Telescope or Observatory if you see them, and watch for Blueprint and Brainstorm.
Pivot to xmult. Base-game Chips are only additive, so they plateau, while xmult jokers and their copies push past the doubled blinds. By high antes the /2 barely matters, so Plasma nearly squares your score.

- ▸Stack one side hard, never both. Balanced Chips and Mult is the worst case for Plasma.
- ▸Stuntman is a top pick: a huge chip block, instantly, with no scaling time.
- ▸Grab Telescope, and especially Observatory, the moment they appear.
- ▸Manage money tightly. The doubled blinds mean you need rerolls to assemble a core.
Endless Mode
Plasma is the strongest deck for Endless mode. The score requirement doubles, but a Mult-focused build nearly squares your output, so it pulls ahead of every other deck the longer a run runs.
