How Black Deck Works
Black drops you to 2 hands a round but gives a sixth Joker slot. In most builds an extra joker beats an extra hand by a wide margin: it can hold a second xmult core, a copy joker, or a defensive piece. The cost is consistency, since you have fewer hands to find and play your scoring shape.
How to Play It
Play tighter. With 2 hands, lean on economy and a reliable scoring hand and commit early.
Fill the sixth slot with a second scaler or a copy joker like Blueprint or Brainstorm.
Six jokers runs a full engine: an xmult core, an amplifier, a copy, economy, and a utility slot.
