Constellation
This Joker gains 0.1 Mult every time a card is used (Currently Mult)
How Constellation scales
Constellation gains ×0.1 Mult permanently every time a Planet card is used. Using a Planet card from your consumable slot, or cracking a Celestial Pack and using the Planet inside, both count.
Each Planet use is small, but they accumulate. A planet-heavy run can use 30-40 Planet cards by Ante 8, putting Constellation at ×4-5.
How Planet card use stacks up
| Planet uses | Constellation mult |
|---|---|
| 10 | ×2 |
| 20 | ×3 |
| 30 | ×4 |
| 50 | ×6 |
These numbers assume you actively buy Celestial Packs and use the Planets rather than selling them.
Constellation + Planet card pipeline
To make Constellation a real win condition, you build around Planet acquisition:
- Telescope (uncommon joker): when a Celestial Pack is opened, the most-played hand type's Planet is guaranteed. Doesn't directly feed Constellation but makes Planet use more impactful.
- Astronomer: makes all Celestial Packs (and Planet cards in shop) free. With Astronomer + Constellation, you can spam Celestial Packs without economic pressure. This is the canonical pair.
- Cartomancer (creates a Tarot on Blind selection — wrong type, doesn't help).
- Perkeo + Black Hole: every shop creates a Negative Black Hole copy. Using each = 5 Planet uses at once (Black Hole levels every hand). +×0.5 to Constellation per Black Hole used.
Constellation + Astronomer is the optimal pair
Astronomer makes Celestial Packs free. Constellation gains mult from Planet use. Together:
- Buy every Celestial Pack in the shop (free with Astronomer).
- Use every Planet inside (each = +×0.1 Constellation).
- Planet card levels also boost the hand types you're scoring with — separate stacking gain.
An aggressive Astronomer + Constellation run uses 5-10 Planet cards per ante, putting Constellation at ×5-×8 by Ante 8 while every hand type is several levels up from Planet stacking.
Constellation + Blueprint / Brainstorm
Constellation's current X mult is multiplicative. Blueprint at Constellation ×5 contributes another ×5 from one slot.
The growth itself happens only on Constellation. Blueprint doesn't gain Mult from Planet use — it just reads Constellation's current value.
When to take, when to skip
Take Constellation:
- Early-mid run with Astronomer in play or in shop.
- Plasma Deck or balanced builds that benefit from Planet card levels regardless of Constellation.
- Black Hole / Perkeo access — each Black Hole use is 5 Planet uses (counts 5× toward Constellation).
Skip Constellation:
- No Astronomer and a lean economy — Celestial Packs cost real money that competes with shop slots.
- Late acquisition with few rounds left.
- Tarot-focused builds (Cartomancer engine) that don't generate Planet card volume.
