No face cards means a thinner, steadier deck. Strong for consistency and no-face synergies.
How to Unlock the Abandoned Deck
Requirement: Win a run with the Green Deck.
See every unlock path in the all 15 decks guide. You can also open everything at once via Reset Profile → Unlock All, but that disables achievements on the profile.
How Abandoned Deck Works
Abandoned removes all 12 face cards, leaving a 40-card deck of number cards and Aces. A smaller deck draws more consistently and repeats the same hands more reliably, and a few jokers reward not scoring face cards. The trade-off is that face-card builds (Baron, Triboulet, Sock and Buskin) are off the table.
How to Play It
Enjoy the consistency. A 40-card deck finds Pairs and Flushes more reliably than a full one.
Lean into no-face payoffs. Ride the Bus keeps scaling on every face-free hand.
Build around number-card scoring and skip anything that needs Kings, Queens or Jacks.
